The reinvented Textbook by Apple for iPad.

Published on January 19, 2012 by in Featured, News

Today Apple had their Education event in New York where they unveiled iBooks Author, and the new digitized textbooks which will be available in the iBooks store. These new textbooks are amazing, they will intrigue students and really make them love studying from their textbooks. The new textbooks will have audio, video, live diagrams, and built in learning games to help students learn. Students can also take notes which are automatically organized and highlight parts of the book for homework or studying. The best part is, is that the books will be updated constantly, so that when students receive a history textbook, it isn’t 5 years old, it includes up to date information. Many students have stopped carrying books to class because books are heavy, and uncomfortable, and now with textbooks on iPad, students can carry hundreds of textbooks, which weigh only 1.33 pounds. Students should be learning for the future, and not the past. Apple is making sure that’s what happens, reinventing yet another thing.
