For the last two weeks I have been playing Rocksmith almost every day. I don’t think I have ever enjoyed practicing guitar in the last two years as much as I have enjoyed it in the past two weeks. Rocksmith makes practicing guitar interesting and is a real learning tool. I learned House of the Rising Sun by The Animals, in less than an hour and a half with the help of Rocksmith. Chords and all.
Rocksmith really works as advertised. I had a few friends over (who have never played a real guitar) to try it out and surprisingly they all completed one song and learned a little bit along the way. The fact that it doesn’t have a difficulty setting is great. It really does learn your skill level and helps you progress in a song without letting you fail.
